Saber Receives National Recognition for Record Growth
Saber Ranks 181st on Deloitte’s 2007 Technology Fast 500
Portland, Oregon, October 24, 2007 – Saber Corporation today announced that it ranked Number 181st on Deloitte’s 2007 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth over five years, from 2002-2006. Saber’s revenue grew 893% over the past five years with 2002 revenues of $5.8MM and 2006 revenues of $57.8MM.
This award follows on the heels of a repeat ranking on Inc 500’s list of fastest-growing private companies, where Saber placed 365th this year, and recognition from the Portland Business Journal as Oregon’s fastest growing firm for 2007.
“To rank on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, companies must achieve phenomenal revenue growth over five years,” said Phil Asmundson, vice chairman, U.S. Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. “We applaud Saber for being among the fastest growing companies in North America.”
“There are two key and simple attributes that drive our growth,” says Nitin Khanna, Saber’s Chairman & CEO. “First, it is our single minded focus on client satisfaction, and second, it is the talent and commitment of the company’s over 500 employees.” A continued focus on the care and development of Saber’s customers and employees is also expected to make 2007 a record year for Saber with expected revenues of over $120MM. With this growth in 2007 Saber fully expects to be back on the Inc. 500 and Deloitte Fast 500 lists next year.
