Saber Partners with Rhode Island to Implement Motor Vehicle Solution

Award Positions Saber as the Market Leader in the DMV Industry

Portland, Oregon – December 20th, 2007 – Saber Corp. is proud to announce that it has been awarded a contract to replace the State of Rhode Island's Motor Vehicle system. This award follows a long history of partnership between the State and Saber including implementations of Saber's Public Retirement and Elections systems.

The modernization of Rhode Island's thirty-year-old system will include improving the quality of customer service, automating manual processes, enhancing the breadth of database information, and innumerable operational efficiencies.

Saber and its COMET framework were chosen because of the Saber's industry expertise and a history of COMET's successful implementations in similarly sized states. Saber's Vice President of Motor Vehicles, Aman Sethi, says "We are committed to implementing Saber's state-of-the-art, comprehensive, customer-centric solution, COMET, which will enable RI DMV to efficiently serve their citizens."

Saber looks forward to furthering its dynamic partnership with Rhode Island, one that will build upon the successful Voter Registration and Pension system projects Saber has already implemented in the state.
