The latest version of the Saber Child Care Management System (CCMS) is a complete redesign of the architecture and functions of CCMS. Unlike many vendors that try to get to market quickly and use components of existing systems, CCMS was completely redesigned from the ground up to exploit the technologies and products currently available for browser-based systems. The system software architecture provides a high-level organization for system functions into logical layers. Each layer is accountable for satisfying an assigned set of responsibilities. The service design of the system architecture also allows business functions and interfaces to be easily deployed as Web Services. The flexibility and deployment options of the system allow it to satisfy a diverse group of users and agency requirements.
