SaberInsight for Forms supports multiple leading EDMS systems from vendors such as Vignette, FileNet, and CACI HighView. This allows us to match your current EDMS, or select one optimized for your needs. They store incoming forms, scanned documents, application files (JPEG, TIFF, WORD, EXCEL, PDF, etc.), emails, faxes, and official records. The EDMS transfers data to and from all the SaberInsight for Forms modules and your external business applications. The EDMS manages the security of all documents and tracks access to all documents, and the activities of all users.

Both paper and electronic documents and forms are fed to the EDMS for indexing and storage, before being submitted to the workflow system that automates your business process. SaberInsight for Forms provides a fully integrated back-end system that handles any mix of documents and forms. SaberInsight for Forms includes a bidirectional, integrated module that exchanges data with your business systems. This single integration point serves all internal SaberInsight components. Most changes to your business system affect only this one SaberInsight module.
Thus, data from your business application is used by SaberInsight’s Captiva module to validate incoming paper form data and by LiveCycle to pre-fill and validate e-form data. As a result, incomplete and incorrect incoming forms are tagged for routing to an exception workflow.
